HOW TO APPLY, WHAT GRANTS WE OFFER.
GRANTS & DISBURSMENTS
The WAF is a tremendous community asset with great potential. We thank all of you who have placed your trust and charitable assets with the WAF. We invite everyone to learn more about the WAF and how it can help achieve your charitable and estate planning goals through giving back to the community. See many of the programs and events below that the WAF has funded.

All requests for funding should be referred to the grant committee

All funding requests will require a grant application

Based on the grant request, the grant committee will determine if a short form or long form application should be completed

Grant committee will provide applicant with the appropriate application and follow up on status

Completed applications will be scanned and e-mailed to ALL board members for review and comment

All input on grant applications should be e-mailed to the grant committee within 7 days of receiving application

Grant committee will then meet to review the merits of the grant request and consider board input

Grant committee will make a recommendation to the board based on availability of funds and merits of the grant based on WAF’s mission and objectives
9
Board will vote on grant committees recommendation Grant committee may contact WAF’s donor advised fund holders to see if they are interested in funding the grant request.
